Our cat Jasper, just passed on 11/1/25, at the age of 23. Huckleberry, passed last year at the age of 15. For 15 years not a day went by without them cleaning one another’s ears, sometimes twice a day.
They grew up on 40 acres in Redstone Canyon with horses, chickens, and other cats and dogs.
Rattlesnakes and other critters were a common threat. Jasper would team up with Kayda, one of our other cats, to tease coiled Rattlers, one on each side.
They were the most loving pets to our children and grand children who brought harmony to our family and will be missed and always remembered in our hearts.
